Tele-health Therapy That Helps You Move Forward

Honest therapy for real people navigating real-life stress, trauma, and change.

Let’s Be Real

At Affirmation Restorative Counseling, I don’t do one-size-fits-all. Your story, your background, your struggles—they matter. I tailor therapy to who you are, not who the world expects you to be.

Whether you’re carrying trauma, trying to untangle your anxiety, or just feeling stuck in life, we’ll work through it together. I’ll be honest with you, sit with you in the hard moments, and help you find a way forward that actually feels doable, not perfect, but real.

If you’re looking for support that’s compassionate, honest, and actually gets you, you’re in the right place.

Not sure what to expect from therapy?

Therapy is a space where you’ll be heard, supported, and challenged—with compassion and honesty. I’ll show up for you fully, listen without judgment, and help you make sense of what you’re carrying. But healing isn’t passive.

Therapy only works if you’re willing to do the work.
That means showing up, being honest (even when it’s uncomfortable), and taking what we talk about into your life outside of sessions. I can offer tools, insights, and guidance, but change comes from what you do with them.

This isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being willing. Willing to look inward, willing to try, and willing to keep going even when it’s hard. If you’re ready for that, I’m here to walk the path with you.

Why Choose Affirmation Restorative Counseling?

Because you deserve therapy that’s honest, human, and actually helpful.

Convenience and Flexibility

Life is busy—therapy shouldn’t make it harder. With virtual sessions, you can meet with me from wherever you feel most comfortable, whether that’s your couch, your car, or your lunch break at work. No rushing through traffic, no waiting rooms—just real support on your schedule.

Efficient Communication

You don’t have to wait until your next session to feel heard. Whether it’s through video, secure messaging, or email, I make it easy to stay in touch and get the support you need when it matters most. Communication should feel simple, clear, and human—because that’s what therapy is about.

Personalized Care

No cookie-cutter treatment plans here. Your story, struggles, and strengths are unique—so your therapy should be, too. I take the time to really understand what’s going on in your life and tailor our work together to fit you, not some textbook version of mental health. This is care that’s built around who you are and where you’re headed.

Inclusivity without Judgement

I work with people from all walks of life: LGBTQ+ folks, people in non-traditional relationships, those exploring kink or sexuality, navigating complicated faith or cultural experiences, or just trying to figure out who they are and what they need.

This is your space to be fully seen and heard—without judgment, assumptions, or the pressure to water yourself down. I offer therapy that’s affirming, compassionate, and tailored to you—not some generic version of what mental health “should” look like.

Whatever brings you in, you’ll get honest support, real connection, and care that meets you where you are.

Kellie E. Walker, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor

I show up as a real person first, someone who gets that life can be heavy, messy, and hard to navigate alone. I work with adults dealing with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and mood and personality disorders, and I bring not just my clinical training, but my lived experience and no-nonsense compassion into every session.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in the corporate world. Eventually, I realized that what I really wanted was to help people heal, not just manage. That led me back to school for my master’s in Counseling Psychology, and now I use a mix of evidence-based approaches including DBT, CBT, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and positive psychology—to meet each client where they are.

My style is warm but direct. I believe in saying what needs to be said, with kindness and clarity, and I’m not afraid to add a little humor when it helps break the ice or lift the weight. Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and tailored to you—not a cookie-cutter formula.

If you’re looking for a therapist who will keep it real, walk alongside you, and help you get unstuck without sugarcoating the process, I’d be honored to be part of your healing journey.
